The Malabar magic mushroom strain originates from the southwestern Malabar Coast of India and is known for producing exceptionally large fruiting bodies. We have recorded a Malabar mushroom weighing just over 1lb when wet. This moderately potent strain produces effects similar to Transkei, providing a socially stimulating and energetic experience that includes euphoria, love, uncontrollable laughter, bodily vibration, and light visual hallucination.

This strain’s visual features typically include thick, dense stems and large, broad caps that are gold or light yellow, with darker hues near the center that fade towards the edges. The strain has moderate sporulation and is heavy yielding, with pinsets frequently covering the entire mycelial mat.

Testing results of the Malabar mushroom indicate that this strain contains around 1.6% tryptamine content, while the average Psilocybe Cubensis mushroom contains between 0.6% and 0.8% tryptamine content.
